Big Brother Nigeria – Diary Room Activation
Big Brother Naija (BBN) has been termed the ‘Superbowl’ of Africa as it has the widest reach of TV programming on the continent (over 309 million viewers) and the most expensive media inventory to reflect that reach. Our audacious idea to the client was to recreate ‘’The Diary Room’’ (a segment of the TV show where housemates get to share often revealing and explosive thoughts with Big Brother in a private room) in the real world at high traffic shopping malls.
The activation generated excitement towards the launch of season 7, rewarding fans of the show in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Enugu, generating massive awareness and engagement that helped push record breaking viewership for the season premiere on the 23rd and 24th of July 2023, making it one of MultiChoice’s biggest viewings of the year.
